Architecture at the Jersey Shore is famous for its outrageous design and styles that are unique to the shore towns.

Motels built in the 1950s and 1960s reflected the times, social attitudes and music.

Entitled Doo Wop design, the architecture, style and expanse of motels found no where else, are recognized by the National Trust as worthy of preservation but in danger of loss.

Come learn about Doo Wop!
