of cutting paper into intricate designs, as found in the Chinese,
Philippine, Jewish and Polish world cultures, among others. Ask for

Newark
Museum, an exhibit of
Chinese gardens, on display in the local libraries.

Indian
dance, from an 18 month project, funded by the NJ State Council on the
Arts, exploring the dance, food and music of several regions of India.
The public also enjoyed a food tasting, exhibit of fine art and crafts
and a display of ancient instruments.
