The Division
of Employee Services organizes, schedules, and oversees County mandated
training for the Sexual Harassment and the Drug and Alcohol Policy.
In addition, the Employee Services Division organizes and schedules
all other training.
Tuition Reimbursement
Program
The Division of Employee Services is responsible for the distribution
of Tuition Reimbursement Applications to employees. Under the supervision
of the Personnel Director, the division is responsible for the approval/disapproval
of requests for reimbursement, and prepares and submits vouchers for
payment when necessary.
Affirmative Action
The Personnel Department currently has two Affirmative Action Officers.
Their primary responsibilities are to investigate alleged incidents
or complaints of unlawful discrimination and harassment, prepare confidential
written reports, and distribute findings to the Personnel Director,
County Counsel and Freeholder Director. All employees, regardless of
race, color, nationality, religion, age, disability, sex or sexual orientation,
shall be permitted to work in an environment free from all forms of
unlawful discrimination and conduct which is unlawfully harassing.

Employee Assistance
Program
The Employee Assistance Program is a confidential counseling program,
which is administered by an outside agency. The Division of Employee
Services organizes and schedules supervisor referral workshops regarding
this program. The Division acts as County liaison between employee and
provider.
