in the community. Services are provided through a variety of programs.

IMMUNIZATION
CLINICS
A community based
program providing immunizations to all children, including school-age
children who have no insurance that covers preventive health care. The clinics are scheduled several times a year throughout
the county. Immunizations are provided free of charge. Previous immunization
records must be presented.
For information, call 732-745-3100.
CHILDHOOD
IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM
This unique initiative is funded by the Middlesex County Children's
Health Commission. Through active outreach, children age 2 month through
18 years are identified for assessment of immunization status and have
no insurance coverage for preventive health care. Those
found deficient are offered immunizations at no charge. Case management
services ensure linkages to medical care in the community and reminds
clients when immunizations are due. School age children through age 18 will be immunized according to school requirements (NJS Ch. 14).
