The Internal Affairs Bureau is responsible for investigating any complaints made against an officer, investigator or other member of the department. Careful investigation is conducted to ensure and maintain the integrity of the Sheriff's Department by means of an internal, objective system. Impartial investigation and review are implemented by the Internal Affairs Bureau to achieve justice and fairness.
