Operation Spinal Cord is name given to the Sheriff's Drug Interdiction team. These highly trained officers focus their patrol activities on inter-state highways which are frequently traveled by drug traffickers. Their mission is to intercept these couriers, "mules" as they are called, who transport illegal controlled dangerous substances through our Country. The Spinal Cord Team has seized large amounts of cash, drugs and even luxury sports cars in conjunction with their many arrests.
